A page cannot be captured

Chrome prevents extensions from capturing protected pages such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. Open a normal webpage and try again. For local file:// pages, enable “Allow access to file URLs” for PageStitch on chrome://extensions.

A full-page capture looks incomplete

Wait for the page to finish loading before starting the capture. If content loads while scrolling, increase the settle delay in PageStitch. Pages wider than Chrome's canvas limit or exceptionally tall pages may be clipped or divided into numbered image files.

Fixed or sticky elements repeat

Keep “Hide after first segment” selected in the PageStitch popup. Choose “Capture exactly as scrolled” only when you want fixed elements to appear as the page naturally presents them.

Saving a screenshot

After capture, use Download in the preview tab. Check Chrome's Downloads page if the file does not appear where expected, and confirm that downloads are allowed for the extension.

Privacy

PageStitch processes captures locally and does not upload screenshots or page contents. Read the privacy policy for details.
